Anti-fouling system
MGPS Introduction
Bio-fouling commonly occurs in seawater circulation system when barnacles, mussels and other lower forms of marine life as larvae enter pipework, settle on internal surface of pipes where they rapidly grow and multiply if favorable environmental condition exists.
Basic Principle
Bio-fouling commonly occurs in seawater circulation system when barnacles, mussels and other lower forms of marine life as larvae enter pipework, settle on internal surface of pipes where they rapidly grow and multiply if favorable environmental condition exists.
The MGPS system has been widely applied in all kinds of ships, marine engineering and seawater pipework system.
AF/HF series electrolytic antifouling and anticorrosion device (MGPS) adopts the principle of impressed current, uses metal (or seawater) electrolysis to produce active metal ions (or sodium hypochlorite), uses flowing seawater as the medium, and distributes the electrolyte to the protected pipe system to prevent marine organisms from attaching and metal pipe corrosion, which can improve the working efficiency and equipment performance of seawater systems such as water pumps, heat exchangers, and condensers.
Great performancea dual system combining pipework anti-fouling and corrosion suppression, which keeps corrosion rate under 0.03mm/y and achieve anti-fouling effect above 96%.
